This vivid depiction of multi-colored fall leaves and grasses is a close-up look at the beauty of what can be found in those piles of autumn leaves. The blue gray chain link fence brings us back to the reality that this is something that can be found on any autumn day once the leaves begin to fall. There is also a personal touch by having three circles in black, white, and gray tones that are an expression of the eye condition that Diane's father developed that started with a distorted spot in the center of his vision that progressively got worse until all that was left was his peripheral vision.
