This vivid pastel drawing shows a close-up view of a Bird of Paradise flower from Hawaii. I took the liberties to extend some of the petals in which some of them actually pierce some of the stems and leaves. I also incorporated 3 triangular black, white, and gray sections to help us appreciate the beauty of color.
